The slippery slope of human behavior, with all of it’s mess, conflict and drama is where the art of storytelling lies, it’s where my scripts and characters are forged. Film’s ability to peel back our public disguise, revealing our true self, imperfections and all, makes it far more interesting.

The best part of film is that it never turns out exactly as you plan, you always end up with more. During production the project begins to breath, taking on a life of it’s own, the dynamics of the creative process dictating what footage you end up using. It’s like the holiday season where you experience a high level of stress for months and months up to the point of opening the gifts, the unplanned footage being those gifts.

Not wanting to be type cast as a ‘this genre’ director, or ‘that genre’ director, I shoot and edited anything and everything that interested me (in whatever format the material demands). I’ve found my own way to success by remaining true to my vision, by doing what I love. And, I’m sure that soon you will be mine for the next 90 minutes!
